Day Two was Animal Kingdom day.
I LOVE Animal Kingdom!
We decided the night before that we were going to get there early because of Magic Hours. We thought Animal Kingdom opened at 8:00 AM... and it did, for those that were staying on Disney property. However, we wouldn't be staying on property till the next day, so we couldn't get in till 9:00 AM afterall.

It was pretty empty! All those cars in the distance are employee vehicles! {Ignore me in the picture. Definitely not the most flattering picture ever taken of me.}
While we waited to get in, we got coffee from the stand at the entrance and we checked out the gift shop and took pictures.

Once we got inside, we got to start exploring all the animals.

Nasty 'fruit bats', I think they're called.
As we were moving through, these ladies told us they were about to let the tigers out to feed them. So we hung around to watch. They just threw, what looked like, big ole balls of raw ground beef. Ick!
Here they come!! So mighty and majestic!
Then they decided to give us a show. A show of peeing and taking a dump going to the bathroom. Special. Thanks Mr. Tiger!
Oh, a grasshopper. No biggy, right?
Wrong! This thing is frickin HUGE! Look at how large it is on Chad's hand! Yuck!
Loved watching the monkeys. So cute and funny!
The Mount Everest ride. Gets you nice and WET! Thankfully, I didn't sit in the front. My MIL & FIL on the other hand, did.
We watched the Finding Nemo show. Really cute!
Next, we went to the A Bug's Life show. They had posters like these at the entrance.

More aminals. Yes, that's right. I said Aminals. I like to change words around sometimes.
We ate lunch at Rain Forest Cafe when our tummy's started rumbling at us.
THEN it started raining. Hard. We took cover under these mushrooms. And if you look closely, you can see my MIL hunched in a ball in the background. She claims it was warm there.
To avoid the rain that decided it didn't want to stop, we went to The Lion King show. It's a pretty fun and amazing show if you ever get the chance to go! Love it!
Finally the sun decided to come out again and we went on looking at the rest of the animals. So stinkin CUTE!
We have this tradition, if you can call doing something two times, four years apart, a tradition, to take pictures with different animals on this ginormous animal wall.
Eventually we made our way over to this water ride. We saved it till the sun came back out so we wouldn't be freezing because this ride also gets you soaked, if you're in the right spot. We went on it something like 4, 5 or 6 times in a row {I lost count} and never did I get drenched. I was lucky! {Although it was so hot that I wouldn't have been upset had I gotten soaked!}
Heidi, on the other hand, was beyond drenched. So funny!
Animal Kingdom closes early because they've gotta get all the animals fed and put away. So we left and I don't remember what we did. Probably went back to the hotel to get showered and changed. Actually, I think that IS what we did. The weather required two showers a day. It was in the 80's with about 80% humidity plus or minus a bit. Craziness!
Later, we went to play putt-putt golf.

I managed to get the ball in a tricky spot. Like my golf stance? I'm ready for the Pro's, huh?!

Heidi was taking a picture of Kyle through an arch way. I couldn't resist snapping this pic.

At the end of the night, I got a hole in one! Woohoo! Go me!
When we were through "golfing", we headed in the direction of food. Everyone wanted Sonic. We don't have Sonic in WA. Actually, I think we have ONE. But it's in Eastern WA so at least a 3 hour drive to get to it. I, however, couldn't eat there so Kyle and I went to Taco Hell Bell for me and met back up with everyone. I guess they had quite an issue ordering their food and once they FINALLY got it, most of their orders had something wrong. Fun times.
And that was the end of Day Two. Whew!
Next up: Hollywood Studios.
