We went to Volunteer Park and Conservatory on Capital Hill. The Conservatory was all decked out for Christmas with pointsettias and a big ole Christmas tree. It was really pretty!
I didn't remember ever being there but then I saw the Conservatory and in one area there's cacti. When I was young, I was there with my mom, sister and grandma. There may have been others there as well. But do you know what my grandma did? She told me to lightly touch the cactus and then she PURPOSEFULLY slammed my hand INTO the cactus!! So mean, right?! Yeah, I haven't let her live that down. I was probably around ten when that happened too.
Anyway the photoshoot was a lot of fun and we even endured the rain. It was wet, wet, wet!!
