Let's start.
Yesterday I had a date, with a four year old. We went and saw Toy Story 3, then we went to Toys'R'Us. When I picked Evan up, he told my sister that he wanted to take his spending money. So my sister put a handful of change in a baggy. When we were at Toys'R'Us, Evan was debating between a castle {a little lego one}, a Batman car and then he saw his prize. He wanted a Nerf gun. We continued to look just so he was positive. When we got to the checkout I told the lady that Evan was helping to buy it. Evan had also picked out a truck that is part of all the Thomas stuff for Kingston. The total? $17.45. How much change did Evan have? $.45. Perfect! After that we drove across the parking lot to Red Robin and had lunch and then we ended our date at Costco, cuz Auntie had some things to get. He was wiped out and I looked back at him when we were just seconds from his house and his eyelids were fluttering. I had to snap him out that right away! LOL

I realized the the other day that the quarter is going to be over in about 2.5 weeks and I'll be starting my externship in just under a month {as well as having my 31st birthday, eek!!}. I've got the paperwork I need to fill out for the externship sitting in front of me right now and so I'm gonna get it all taken care of, call my contact at the hospital and get this ball rolling. Can't wait to start drawing blood again and get away from the looney toon Psych teacher!

We had a neighborhood BBQ on Saturday but hardly anyone went. I stood at my front window and watched the crazy people that did go, get soaked since it was pouring rain. I left an hour after the BBQ started to go to my friends daughters 3rd birthday and I guess the BBQ only went until 4pm when it was supposed to go till 6pm. Oh well. I'm sure they'll try again next year since this was the "First Annual Neighborhood BBQ."

And speaking of that friend above, it was so good to see her. The last time I saw her was in February when we went to see a movie. It was nice sitting around catching up with her and her crazy, adorable kids.

Speaking of kids, yesterday I was on Facebook and my aunt announces that her oldest daughter is pregnant with her fourth child and just a little bit later, someone that I grew up with announced that she's pregnant {and she's been married less than two months}. I really hate days where those announcements come in waves. I went and dround myself in wine.

One of my BFF's has recently made me aware that she's reading my blog even though I had never told her about it but had a fairly good idea that she was. But I haven't told hardly anyone IRL about my blog so I hope she doesn't take it personally. But when you're on Twitter and she is too and you post links to your blog on there, it's kind of hard for her not to know, right? LOL

This same BFF has recently made the announcement that she and her family are moving. This is how they told everyone on Facebook:
I'm so sad! But I hope and pray that this is the change that they need!! Love you, Riika!!
This turned out longer that I thought it would. Guess I've got lots of random built up in this mushy brain of mine.

Random thoughts are always good. As are random comments:
-I wish I lived close enough to my nephew to take him on special days like that
-FB "waves" are the worst...and they are ALWAYS in waves.
-sorry about your friend moving...but from the rest of your weekend, it sounds like you are surrounded w/ people that love you!
Random is good and so is blogging - whenever you can!
