First, she told me it started earlier than it did.
Second, it ended up being closer to my house than her house so I could've met them there instead of driving the 20 minutes to her house. Oh well, what're ya gonna do, right? lol
This was actually quite the ordeal.
Who knew there were TWO places in Snohomish, both called "The Farm"?! Yeah, no one informed my sister of this, so we waited at the wrong place for half an hour!! And a lady showed up at the first place, waited and then took off. We ended up seeing her at the second place. Nice of her to find out if we were waiting for the same thing she was. We were quite perturbed by the situation.
Anywho, we got to the correct place, late, and Evan was able to meet up with his class.
They went through a hay maze in a barn. Absolutely INSANE. Seriously. And the only way down? By a slide. Thankfully the adults were able to squeeze down the side of it and meet the kidlets at the bottom.
After that, they very quickly went through a small petting zoo. Then they sat under a big tented area and had popcicles! {Again, insane.}
This field trip was very rushed for us and it wasn't helped any by the rain.
I feel that we would've had more fun if it hadn't all started with so much craziness.
We did have fun, just because the boys were having fun, but hopefully next year it'll be an even better experience.
I didn't get to take a lot of pictures of everything because I was running around with Kingston, trying to keep his boots on his feet or him from falling in the mud.
But here's a few of the better ones that I was able to get.
